The North is home to the Rauceby Church of England Primary School which serves the villages and the surrounding area. It is also home to the Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre and The Rauceby Maize maze during the summer months. At the same site as the Aviation Heritage Centre there is a popular touring caravan park that is well used for most of the year. The parish church of St Peter 's, part of the Ancaster group of churches, is situated on Church Lane and serves both North and South Rauceby. Both villages are in the Local Government District of North Kesteven.

South Rauceby SignThe South has a pub/restaurant, The Bustard Inn, newly refurbished to a very high standard. It is also served by the Rauceby railway station. It has a daily bus service that runs on the Grantham to Sleaford route and is also under the Call Connect scheme. The Village Hall is situated on Main Street and serves both South and North Rauceby with a number of village clubs and events being held there on a regular basis. The Village Hall is also the home of Rauceby Pre-School which has been running for a number of years, serving the local community and the surrounding area.

The community has its own newspaper, the Rauceby Parish News, which is published quarterly and is archived by the British Library's serials department at Boston Spa. Its Editor is also a fully fledged Newspaper Society Press Card holder. The paper covers local news and has an events diary that not only covers Rauceby but many of its surrounding communities.

The Rauceby Countryside The area is predominately a farming community. There are many spectacular walks through the villages and woodlands which are promoted by Countryside NK Leisure Connection and details can be found at the leisure connection website link or from the Sleaford Tourist Information Centre, located in Money's Yard, Sleaford.

Rauceby hosts many events throughout the year, such as the Rauceby Picnic, Safari Supper, Rauceby Hall Supper, Rauceby War Weekend, to name a few.

Rauceby is also home to the Rauceby Little Footprint Initiative (RLFI), a groundbreaking focus group that is looking into the community's sustainability and issues regarding climate change. It is working on developing models that will not only benefit our community but many others. The initiatives that the RLFI come up with are put into action by individual steering groups and are extremely challenging ideas. For more details about the RLFI please visit the link above.
